Chiefs Win Super Bowl LVII

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The Chiefs' victory was their second Super Bowl win in four years and their third overall Super Bowl title.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named the Super Bowl MVP after throwing for 182 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winning touchdown pass to wide receiver Skyy Moore with 11 seconds remaining in the game.

Chiefs Sign Free Agent Wide Receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster

The Chiefs signed free agent wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster to a one-year contract on March 14, 2023.

Smith-Schuster, who was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers in March, is a two-time Pro Bowl selection and has over 1,000 receiving yards in each of the past four seasons.

The Chiefs are hoping that Smith-Schuster will be a valuable addition to their offense, which already features All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce.

Chiefs Trade for Defensive Tackle Carlos Dunlap

The Chiefs traded for defensive tackle Carlos Dunlap from the Cincinnati Bengals on March 21, 2023.

Dunlap, who is a three-time Pro Bowl selection, will help to bolster the Chiefs' pass rush, which was one of the worst in the NFL last season.

The Chiefs gave up a 2023 fourth-round pick and a 2024 seventh-round pick in exchange for Dunlap.
